Da, have never done nor created any blog, therefore have no experience in this stuff at all, still will try to do my best. Google was quite helpful in finding tips and hints related to first post in blog (click).
So here we go, will stick strictly to advice the folk in the link above gave:
Who we are:
Students of Bellerbys College. Just like you – probably. With a little, tiny difference. We are members of Social and Marketing Committee. Just another students group to kill some time, have fun, get to know other people, pick up some girls/guys. Nah, usual stuff.
Why are we blogging:
That’s a very good question. I think main reason is to include two additional lines into personal statement. The second main reason is, um, you have to know that our board is pretty demanding and would really, really like the students community to expand, improve, constantly progress. Or ‘betterise’ as one of my friends in Poland used to say. Yeah, so for this year they wished to create a website and a forum. Forum – done. Website – sort of. We can’t be bothered to make a website, while nobody in our group knows much about (X)HTML, Flash, PHP etc. Blog sounds a lot more reasonable.
What will we be blogging about:
Everything and nothing. Mainly the latter one. Just some random news to fill in the blog and to show a potential reader that there is actually something going on. Thus, to prove that the blog (once) existed. You never know if some guy from university we will be applying to, will want to check if facts stated in PS are true or not really.
So be ready to expect some reviews of in- and out-school events, important announcements and others things that I currently can’t think of.
How can you leave feedback:
Um, comments. E-mails. We might reply. You can also catch one of us up in the school. Yup, that’s another possibility. I’m sure you will figure out other ways.
